Chocolate Muffins

Chocolate is the best choice every time! Sure, you could make blueberry muffins, maybe banana nut, strawberry or poppy-seed, but chocolate will always win! If you’re an extreme chocolate lover, fold in chocolate chips or top with a cocoa crumble.


1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup oil
2 eggs – beaten


  1. Heat oven to 400F. Line a regular 12-well muffin pan with paper cups.
  2. Sift together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, oil and egg. Add dry ingredients and mix. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  4. Bake 20 minutes. Enjoy!
